    Hi,
    I bought the template a while back and just downloaded the latest version to start work on a site.

    I have loaded a page up in Dreamweaver and gone to look at it in Chrome through localhost on my xampp server but it just stays on the preloader image.

    The animation just loops constantly and the page never loads. I have looked at it in IE and it’s the same situation.

    Can you please explain how to resolve this as I can’t do anything without being able to preview it.

    Thanks

    Andy

    you need to add your twitter username in the main.js file as below:

    /*===========================================================*/
    /*	Twitter Feed
    /*===========================================================*/
    $(".twitter-feed").tweet({
    	join_text: "auto",
    	username: ["envato"],
    	modpath: "inc/twitter/",
    	count: 10,
    	loading_text: "loading ..."
    });

    or, if you do not want to enter your twitter username, you only need to delete the script, and also you have to remove the script as below in your html file:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.tweet.js"></script>

    No I’m developing it locally on a xampp server.

    If I look at the page in “live” view in dreamweaver it shows up fine. It’s just when I try to view it in Chrome or IE.

    Can I get rid of the loading image altogether? It seems to make everything really slow to load which is bad for SEO.

    You do know what I’m talking about right? The animated image of the sun with the planets revolving round it.

    Dude, I have read the documentation and it leaves a lot to be desired!

    I have already inserted my twitter username as you suggested. I have also read the github info referred to in your documentation and can’t see anything wrong there.

    did you configure your twitter APIs, such as those set out in the documentation?
